aha.. yupyup.. so then took the train to bern from fribourg.
apparently bern is the capital of switzerland.
the first sign of BERNso then we went to the tourist information place and asked for a map of the city.
so then on the map they actually included a recommended walking tour around the city which encompassed most of the main sights. so then we checked out this eatery which sells like cooked food on the go kind? so people can just grab a (relatively cheap) meal and eat it on the way or something. saw bbq chicken. couldnt resist. so i got 'em. after letting jess and esther try the chicken. THEY couldnt resist and they also got themselves some chicken. aha..
so then after like eating the chicken. we set off on our walking tour.
sights of bern with its many antiquated-looking buildings, majestically tall churches and (of course!) fountains. many many fountains in fact. aha..
they had this iceskating rink in the middle of some city square centre thingy. cool shit.

munster!! church.. apaprently its like a tourist attraction to go climb the tower of munster and that its freaking high and not many people can boast about reaching the top. so then i was like DYING to go try.. but apparently by the time i got there the entrance to the tower was closed o.O :( and so din managed to climb it (shit!) was kinda sad over that for the rest of the day.. buttt.. oh wells.. went into the church tho..

fountains again.so basically.. as you guys can see from the PATHETICALLY few pictures of bern.. its really basically a city of fountains, fountains and more fountains.. and im not even kidding or exaggerating over here.. SERIOUSLY. and i saw these.. amongst many other fountains just by walking on the walking tour which isnt even THAT long.. imagine that.. hehe..
so that was like bout 6-ish? when we left bern and set back to lausanne..
on the train ride back.. all was shagged out and slept on the way back.. =x
