fribourg, broc, chocolate factory and ALPS

okiee.. third day in switzerland.
after one night of planning... we decided to go fribourg (broc and bull) to visit the chocolate factory and then head over the bern.. and check out the munster tower.
so early next day we woke up early and set off. went to the main train station at lausanne-gare, i bought a 4-day swiss pass. (cost me a whopping 260 sgd?) but i guess in the end it more of less evens out and turns out to be a good motivator to be up and going too.. so i guess. worth it ba..
took the train to fribourg. where we changed to another train to get to bulle.
so then the train ride to bulle..
that day, the sun was up and shining and on a big field of snow.. its kinda blinding

so then bulle is like located in one of those valleys.. so its like at the foot of the alps.. kinda cool. like when bu wake up in the morning then u see the alps outside ur window.. aha
so we see this silly sign and we thought we reached.. so we got off the train.. apparently was the wrong stop.. :S then cus the next train s like in an hour's time.. we decided to walk around broc and attempt to find our way to the chocolate factory.
so ya was like walking around broc village.. asked a few people on how to get there. and just basically wandered off.
kinda interesting i guess.. such an expedition. like unplanned and impromptu..
got to see how those little villages looks like.. PRETTY. and like countryside=style of living i guess.
so we kinda found our way after getting lost once. hehe.. then like climbed down this super steep slope.. (kinda bad for a minor acrophobia like me..) so i kinda took damn long to get down.. aha..
i guess the pictures just speaks for itself ba.. hehe..
so then when we reached the bottom.. we walked along the (only) pathway and we say this cute little snowgirl at the edge of this big field of snow..

spotted this really really cool mill (is that what you call it?) in one of the houses.. so we just trespassed into it and took pictures with it.. hehe

went to the chocolate factory to find out that it was closed in winter.. -.- so then off we trooped to the nearby chocolate shop to get chocolates..

went crazy a bit in the shop. then after that cus jess saw like theres haagen daz icecream and its cheaper than singapore.. she couldnt resist.. and me being me.. also bought them.. aha.. eating icecream in the snow.. BEAT THAT.. hehe

well shortly after taking this picture we rushed to catch the train back to fribourg where we then take the train to bern. no time to take a picture of me touching the foot of the alps.. (it was like just around 25 meters away from this spot :( sad. but oh wells.. yupyup.. so next entry.. BERN!
